I have participated in the first three field campaigns of the NASA-funded project NAAMES. Soon (March 2018) I’ll be sailing off again into the North Atlantic Ocean to join the last NAAMES expedition. My role on the cruise is essentially to acquire measurements of rates of biological processes of phytoplankton growth and grazing mortality, which are important to the functioning of the marine system and their food webs, with implications for climate.

More details on the work done during NAAMES coming soon.
